Oh sweet kaviar

I woke up this morning with a major craving for kaviar, but sadly I have no idea where to buy it in England (do they even sell Swedish kaviar here at all?) – I’ll have to remind myself to bring some back home with me next time! It’s ridiculous how fond I am of that stuff, especially since I was pretty apprehensive about eating it to begin with. I guess it grew on me!

    • I’m still trying to get used to crayfish (crawfish?) … I like them but they’re a pain to eat! The family I stayed with had no problems with it, but it took me about 5 minutes just to peel one – embarrassing!

  1. i grew up in sweden but later moved to the UK and found that a lot of the food products basically dont exist here at all (like the caviar and shrimp cheese). However as my parents began to explore the country we found that the grocery section in IKEA sell Kalles Kaviar as well as many other swedish food items (YEP THAT INCLUDES THE MEATBALLS TOO!)
And if your in london, there are now a few Swedish Cafes open (such as FIKA on Brick Lane).
Also there are a few small swedish food stores across london too!
    Hope that helps haha!
I am a fashion student in london and would love it if you could check out my fashion blog! 😀

  2. Hej,
I’m Swedish but I live in Canada since 2004. Kaviar is one of the things I do get a craving for every now and then, but more often «filmjölk» and korv. We live too far from any IKEA.
